Now, I heard from a mod here (was it you James?) that stated it did not work well under higher temperature. I may be wrong on this.
That being said, even if they get newer kevlar vests, does not mean it will prevent someone from dying if they get hit. Could reduce the damage done and possibly save someones life, but nothing is guarenteed. It is sad that the soldiers died, and RIP to them. But being outraged by not having better kevlar vests...
